Seeing Pixels

Faith is a hard thing. It is not easy to trust in the perfect will of God. We have to deny our own understanding of the way the world works and trust that God can see the big picture, the one we are missing.

Why do we miss seeing the big picture? Because our perspective is limited, we are too focused on such a small part of it. Faith is like trying to discern a digital photo while only seeing a closeup of its pixels.

Have you ever zoomed in really close to a digital photo, so close that all you could see was a series of colorful squares. Now imagine, if these colorful pixels were all the information you had, could you tell what the picture was supposed to be based solely on these close up pixels?

God's ways are higher than our ways, He can see the whole picture. We can only see what is in front of us, and if we base our entire belief system on a few colorful pixels, we would be denying the grandest, most inspiring, perfect plan of God in our lives.
